Gbubemi is a Human Resource & Business Consultant with career experiences spanning over fifteen years in various roles in not for profit, consulting, investment banking, and enterprise development sectors. He is currently the Managing Consultant at Business in Tandem Limited, an organizational management advisory firm that works with growing businesses to optimise their human resources and ensure alignment with their overall business strategy.

He has been a partner with the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Nigeria for almost ten years, conceptualising, hosting, and participating in programmes and events such as exhibitions, business clinics, seminars, and pitch competitions for the Global Entrepreneurship Week and also the Creative Business Cup. Over the years, he has actively supported enterprise development initiatives working through “The Spirit of Enterprise” and “SideHustleNG”, both entrepreneurship advocacy initiatives which he founded, targeted at aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs. Through these platforms, he has provided community building, knowledge sharing, coaching, and consulting support to a number of individuals and small businesses.

He regularly consults for the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan- Atlantic University, Lagos on a number of enterprise development programs such as the Road to Growth programme of the Cherie Blair Foundation, TAMFUND, Sterling Bank’s “The Pitch”, Chivas The Venture, OxFam SME Development Programme, the Bank of Industry (BOI) “YES” programme, and the YouWIN and YouWIN Connect programmes, amongst many others. Gbubemi holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Essex, UK and a BSc in Forest Resources Management from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also holds a Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Practices from the Cornell University, USA and is a certified Human Resources professional (SHRM- SCP, SPHRi).
